Hi! My name's Brookelynn! I love Jesus, my family, hockey, reading, math, baseball, tutoring, and knitting.
I've lived in New Hamburg, ON my entire life and I currently am going to the University of Waterloo for Math. One day I hope to be a high school math teacher.
I grew up in a Christian home and have been very blessed to have many Christian role models in my life to look up to! I attended a Christian school from Kindergarten to Grade 5 and then a public school there after. I am so grateful for the foundation of faith I was able to gain from K-Gr.5! It was a great start in my journey with Christ. If I'm being honest though I wish I would have appreciated it a bit more while I was there. I don't think I realized how much of a great thing I had till it was gone!
Anyway to continue a bit about my life and walk with the Lord I think it was around Grade 7 and 8 when I truly began to really make my faith my own! I started to seek the Lord more wholeheartedly and realized that a relationship with the Lord does take work and sacrifice sometimes but it is so worth it!
Currently, I am still discovering what it means to truly pursue God with my whole heart, soul, mind and strength! I am discovering what it means to anchor my identity in the Lord and what he says about me!
I have been attending my current church for 11 years and that is where I met Jody and Rachael. I am so excited to see what God has in store for Living Walk and how he is going to use it to serve others! For most of my life I have had a passion for teaching, youth, and pouring into people's lives. I look forward to seeing how God plans on using these passions to further His kingdom and how these will play a part in the ministry of Living Walk in Czech!
